What is Carlye Doing?

I AM TOUGH RUCKING FOR AMERICA'S FALLEN MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS

This April, my journey isn't just a marathon; it's a tribute. With each of the 26.2 miles and every ounce of the 35lbs rucksack I carry, I am marching in the Tough Ruck to honor the unwavering courage and sacrifice of America's Fallen Military and First Responders.

Tough Ruck 26.2 is more than a physical challenge; it's a collective pledge to never forget those who bravely served our nation. We, a unified force of 1,000, bear the weight of remembrance, carrying the names of the fallen, ensuring their legacy marches on with us.

Our commitment extends beyond the finish line. It's about providing unwavering support to our warriors and their families in their times of need. Your donation is their lifeline, embodying the very essence of our mission: to offer the best care and support to our heroes and their loved ones.

The valor of Tough Ruckers shines beyond the event itself. We embody the spirit of solidarity and resilience, especially remembered on April 15, 2013, when Tough Ruckers stood shoulder to shoulder with first responders during the Boston Marathon tragedy. This act of bravery is what defines us and our mission.

As the only ruck march officially partnered with the Boston Marathon, we carry not just the weight on our backs but the honor and recognition bestowed upon us by the Boston Athletic Association and the Military Friends Foundation, our guiding light.

I am calling on you to join this march with me – not just in spirit but through your support. Your donation empowers us to march forward, to uphold the honor of the fallen, and to ensure their families receive the support they deserve.

Join this noble cause. Donate here and stand with us as we honor the true heroes of America. Together, our steps make a difference.

Let's do this using the "One More Method". During World War II, Doss was a combat medic who served in the Pacific theater. He is best known for his heroic actions during the Battle of Okinawa, where he saved the lives of 75 men atop Hacksaw Ridge. Doss was a conscientious objector who refused to carry a weapon or kill due to his religious beliefs, yet he repeatedly braved enemy fire to rescue wounded soldiers, each time praying, "Lord, please help me get one more." For his extraordinary bravery and selflessness, Doss was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Harry S. Truman.

If we can get just one more person to donate $1 a mile, or $26.20 then we will make our goal.
